CHAIRMAN - Renard T. Jenkins
Jenkins, founder of I2A2.io, is a veteran media and technology executive, thought leader, former president of SMPTE (the Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers), and a current President and board member of HPA (Hollywood Professional Association). In addition to serving in senior leadership roles at both Warner Bros. Discovery and PBS, and with two national Emmys and a Peabody award to his name, Jenkins brings decades of experience at the intersection of content, technology, and standards to HAND’s mission of creating a trusted, neutral, machine‑readable identity layer for the provenance of human talent and their creative endeavors.
FOUNDER / EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR - Will Kreth
HAND founder Will Kreth has been involved in broadband and digital media for more than three decades. Former executive director of the Entertainment ID Registry (EIDR.org); director of metadata governance at Showtime Networks; and director of video product management at Charter/Time Warner. A current working group co-chair at the music industry’s standards body Digital Data Exchange (DDEX.net), a contributor member of the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA.org), and the media provenance working group at the International Press Telecommuications Council (IPTC.org). A co-founder of Wired Magazine; and alumni of the Apple Multimedia Lab — Kreth currently lives in Brooklyn, NY.
